Story Sacks:

Have you ever borrowed the story sacks from the children’s area? They usually contain a book, an audio version of the book and props related to the story. We would like to add some new sacks to the area and are looking for suggestions and or volunteers to help?

Hours of Operation:

Tuesday: 9am to 8pm
Wednesday - Friday: 9am to 5pm
Saturday: 9am to 5pm
(closed during lunch hour Saturday)

Resources Available

A wide variety of resources are available, including:

  • Fiction: Adult, Junior, Junior Easy, Large Print, and Audio
  • Non-fiction: Adult, Junior, and Large Print
  • Magazines: including Maclean’s, Newsweek, National Geographic, Martha Stewart Living, etc.
  • Videos and DVDs: a large selection of titles, including children’s and non-fiction
  • Reference: including encylopedias, magazine summaries, and atlases (in print and on CD-ROM)
  • Government Documents: a wide selection from the Government of Canada, including Census Data
  • Databases: EBSCOhost (summarized and full-text magazine and journal articles)
