Library Fundraising Gala – April 14, 2012 8pm – 12 am
Join us at the Boissevain Legion for an evening of wine and companion food tasting in conjunction with MLCC.
Beer and wine sales available as well as non-alcoholic options.
Rainbow auction and entertainment throughout the evening.
Door prize – Sony eReader (donated by Isabel Vandamme)

Tickets are $20 and as of the 14th will be available at the door.

The Library will be closed Dec 24-27, Open Dec 28, 29, 30. Closed Dec 31, Jan 1, 2.
Open normal hours as of Jan 3.
Last story time for 2011 Dec 22. Program starts again Jan 12.
Wireless access is available from outside the building on the closed days.

New titles will be unavailable for inter-library loan until they are a minimum of 3 months old. After 3 months newer titles may be sent if we no longer have a waiting list.

We are switching to a new software called Evergreen which will allow many more services from home to our patrons. Having your new card will allow you easier access to services such as Manitoba ELibraries and Ebscohost. So beat the rush and get your new card!

Don’t we all wish it would quit raining? We now even have a wet floor at the library. When this wet spring started we had several people come looking for pictures from the last time the souris river etc flooded. So make sure you are taking pictures of everything taking place so we can preserve the event in the archives. If you have copies of pictures you are willing to donate – great. But we are also willing to scan pictures and return originals as well.
