If you’re interested in borrowing books from other Manitoba public libraries and would like to search for them yourself you may use MAPLIN: the Manitoba Public Libraries Network interlibrary loan requesting system.

At the moment MAPLIN is not linked to our Evergreen system so you’ll need to register for an separate account using the patron registration form. (The form is also linked from the MAPLIN patron login under the “Register!” label.)

When you have completed the form you can start using the system. Any requests you make will be sent to us to review and forward to the other library. If we’re unable to fill the request for some reason we will send you an email.

We’re located in beautiful Downtown Boissevain at the corner of South Railway (otherwise known as Main Street) and Broadway. We’re next door to the Civic Centre, across the street from the Boissevain Recorder (formerly the Sandi’s Styles building), and kitty corner with the Paterson Grain elevator.

Our front doors are open Tuesdays from 9am to 8pm, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am to 5pm. On Saturdays, we’re open from 9am to 5pm except for an hour between Noon and 1pm when we lock up for lunch.

As an integral part of our community since 1959, Boissevain & Morton Regional Library strives to connect our patrons with enjoyable reading, good information, interesting exhibits, and each other. We have a broad collection of fiction and non-fiction for all ages, as well as movies, reference material, and the Boissevain Community Archives. And, if you can’t find what you’re looking for within our walls we’re more than happy to request it from another library or help you find it on the Internet.

The Library is using new software called Evergreen that puts our catalogue on the Web and gives patrons online access to renew books or place holds. With a new patron card you’ll be able to access your account and use online services like eLibraries Manitoba (audiobooks and ebooks) and EBSCOhost (online databases).

To search our catalogue or access your account please visit our Evergreen site. Use the My Account link on that site to access your account (to change your password, contact info, etc.).
